According to me, it's ok...

....for my support crew to be tired of baby talk and oohs & ahhs after a weekend so packed with baby stuff! 

....to get apple cobbler for dessert and leave the apples behind at the end.

....to answer the way you really want to when someone asks, "Do you wanna ______[fill in the blank]?"

....to have your new phone picked out just because your contract is ending and not because there is something wrong with your phone (oh, yeah...new iPhone!).

....to be late with birthday presents in the event that you have something really good planned or are trying to find something really good to give.

....to make lists because 1) you feel overwhelmed by what you need to take care of, and 2) you would rather make the list than do whatever else is waiting for you.

....to not love your job all the time if you at least still have moments that make you remember why you're there (I got to aspirate a guy's knee today and got WAY too excited about it!).

I'm sure I have more but that should be good for now.
