He did not appreciate the experience what-so-ever though so we went to the toy store afterwards to reward him ;)

After my first haircut!!
We didn't want to do it but it was time to trim a little off the back...and thankfully that was all the girl tried to do! He still has his beautiful curls they are just a little shorter.

SNOW!
It was definitely a white Christmas here in Virginia and here are some pictures from the first snow...it snowed again on Christmas Day (I ordered it because Jack said he wanted to have his first white Christmas!). My little man LOVES playing in the snow and does not want to come in even after his hands turn bright red because they are so cold! He does have gloves that we DO put on but he tries to take them off and will run away when we try to put them back on!
The first snow was fading but it never got the chance to fully melt before the next snow hit! This is our 3rd moderate size snow this year!
This is our next-door neighbor, Charlie...Hayes loves any puppy and Charlie is a super-sweet puppy! He came over Christmas Day with a new dog jacket on!
Helping Daddy shovel snow...something we had to learn to do when we had our first snow last year. At least I have the Pilot now and not the Passat to drive around in the snow! 4WD is incredibly helpful.
Maymont Animal Farm
When the Easons were here, we got to do lots of things that Joey and I haven't even done in Richmond yet! We went to Hollywood Cemetery and saw the grave of Jefferson Davis and the monument to the Confederate Soldiers. We went to the White House of the Confederacy and the Civil War Museum in downtown Richmond (surrounded by our hospital buildings) and we went to the animal farm at Maymont Plantation that is right across the river from us. Hayes was mesmerized by the animals and they were just looking for anything they could eat!
Hayes' Papa was teaching him bad habits and playing with the animals...Hayes loved it!
Ahh!
Hayes picked up a cute little habit over the holidays...he will drink a sip of his juice and then go "Ahh", just like a coke commercial!
Anything you can do, I can do better....
Hayes loves his Uncle Jack and would even reach for him when I was holding him (that is a huge thing in Hayes' world). Here are a few pics of Hayes wanting to be with Jack or just like him:
Jack was running with Hayes so that he would not cry....it worked and I think Hayes was choking on his laughter!
At one of the James River Plantations, Westover
Eating Dino chicken nuggets just like Uncle Jack...minus the ketchup and hot sauce :)
Napping with Uncle Jack
Christmas Day was overwhelming for H and he reached for his blanket for some sense of normalcy!
Hayes needed a little help getting the tearing started and then he could take it from there!
I can do it myself!!
What is super funny to me about these pictures is that he is shirtless...AND has a bib on. I thought just taking off his shirt, he would be able to eat without me worrying about red sauce staining his super-cute clothes....Hayes did not like that the spaghetti was touching his chest and stomach and thus could not focus on eating!
