12 Weeks!

We went for our 12-week doctor's visit. The doctor wasn't going to do an ultrasound; she just wanted to hear the baby's heartbeat with a doppler. She couldn't find it (and that made for a nerve-racking few minutes as you can imagine) so we went for an ultrasound (much more fun anyway). This is what we saw:
You can see that the baby is kicked back "chillaxin" with it's leg up!! How sweet....oh but wait...
Then it moved around and wouldn't stay still for a while and then we got this shot:

SCARY BABY! It looks like an alien and it's waving at us!!! We absolutely cracked up ;)

She said that the baby looks great and we are still measuring a few days ahead of schedule!
