Nausea

I consider myself incredibly lucky.  My genetics/luck/whatever have dictated that so far I have had no morning sickness, at least not the wretching kind.  But what I have experienced in the last few days have made me infinitely more sympathetic toward my sweet friends that did have issues with morning sickness.  I now have these sets of several minutes where I have overwhelming nausea and it usually takes me the rest of the afternoon to get over this!  It happens when I get hungry, full, thirsty, hot, and anytime I am in the car but not driving....I am quickly learning to avoid all of these aforementioned situations ;)

The food aversions are also something I'm not used to. If you have been around me or my family at meal time, you know that we aren't known to be picky eaters so this is new for me.  Lately if I eat something and then have to smell it after that, the smell nearly sends me into one of my episodes!

But otherwise, we are doing fabulously!  The first doctor's appointment went very well.  The baby measured 3 days ahead of schedule and, thankfully, there was only one baby!  I was very nervous about Joey's family history of twins!!

More to come!
